Question:

I hear about “Authorized Retailers”, what does that mean.

Answer:

It is important you buy your product from an authorized retailer. This means that the retailer has registered with Radio Systems Corporation, has agreed to abide by certain guidelines, and will represent the products in an ethical and accurate manner. Look for logos like the following:

This is an important thing to look for. This assures you, the purchaser, that you will be properly supported by the manufacturers warranty and can make a product return for example. Note that MuttFence.com is an Innotek, PetSafe and SportDog authorized retailer.

Do you sell the Innotek IUC-5200?

Answer:

The Innotek IUC-5200 Contain ‘N’ Train Fence is no longer manufactured and has been replaced by the Innotek IUC-5100 Ultrasmart Contain ‘N’ Train Pet Fencing System.

The IUC-5100 is an excellent solution for someone who wants both an Electric Dog Fence and a Remote Dog Trainer.

Question:

How many dogs can I add to the IUC-5100?

Answer:

As you know, the IUC-5100 is a combined fence and trainer – which is why it is called a Contain ‘N’ Train system. The trainer is capable of handling two dogs. The kit comes with one IUC-5225 Ultrasmart Receiver Collar and extra collars are available.

To add dogs to the fence, you do not need the remote training feature. For this purpose, the number of dogs is essentially unlimited. To add dogs to the fence only, you still need an Ultrasmart Collar, and the IUC-4225 Ultrasmart Receiver Collar is perfect.

Question:

Will the Innotek Contain & Train collars work with the Pet Safe Stubborn Dog System?

Answer:

Unfortunately, no. The systems are different and not compatible with each other. Perhaps you could consider a remote trainer as an additional option. In this case, the dog would need two collars, one for the fence and one for the trainer. It sounds like you have multiple dogs, so the Innotek BT-502A Two Dog Basic Trainer would be a great option for you.

Another option is to consider one our Contain ‘N’ Train systems, such as the Innotek SD-3000 Basic Contain and Train, or the Innotek IUC-5100 Ultrasmart Contain ‘N’ Train Pet Fencing System. The fences would utilize your existing wiring and add some great features to boot – particularly the IUC-5100.

I need the product really quickly, what can you do?

Answer:

Wait! Before you pay somebody for next day air, contact us and find out what we can do with standard shipping. There are three factors: 1) How close you are to our warehouse, 2) How quickly we can get it on its way, 3) Shipping method and time in transit. To most US locations, you’ll be surprised how quickly we can get it to you with standard shipping, so if you need it quickly, contact us and ask for a “Must Ship“. We can always overnight it, but chances are we don’t need to!

If I order today, how long before I get my product?

Answer:

That depends! We ship out of Cincinnati, OH. 90% of our orders will ship same or next day. All collars ship 2^nd day air and the pickup usually happens at 2pm EST/EDT. Our fences ship UPS Ground and that pickup occurs around 4pm EST/EDT. It is reasonable to expect your fence to there within 2 – 5 business days and your collar between 2 – 3 business days.

Question:

How many feet of wire are we getting with these sets?

Answer:

Most electric dog fences come with a total of 500 ft of wire. This is enough to contain approximately ½ acre of land. Additional wire and flag kits are available. The total coverage of a particular fence will likely range from 5 – 25 acres, depending on model.

Question:

I am interested in the Innotek SD 2000 basic containment system, but I have two dogs. I see that it says extra collars are available, but I can’t find any that match up to this model number. Where can I find the additional collar? Thanks!

Answer:

There are two receiver collars available for the Innotek SD-2000 Basic In-Ground Pet Fence.  The Innotek SD-2025 Basic Receiver Collar, and the Innotek SD-2225 Rechargeable Receiver Collar. Since you have the SD-2000 fence, we recommend the SD-2025 since the SD-2225 would require the purchase of a collar charging station.

Do you have any electric fence collars for small dogs that are compatible with the Freedom Fence system? Thanks.

Sorry, no our collars are not compatible with the Freedom Fence Systems.
