The Innotek Contain ‘N’ Train Systems are great products because they combine the features of an in-ground fence with the flexibility and control of a full 150 yard remote trainer.
So how does one remote control work with both dogs? Below is a picture of the Innotek Remote Control – this one is for an IUC-5100 Ultasmart Contain ‘N’ Train System.

Shown here is the remote control for the Innotek Ultrasmart Contain 'N' Train System
There are several buttons on the unit used to switch it on, adjust the stimulation, boost the stimulation, and to apply stimulation.
This button is used to switch the remote between dogs.
The number on this display shows “1″ and after switching, it will display “2″. This requires an additional collar for a total of two (2) dogs.

The short answer is “Yes”. The SD-2025 is an Innotek, battery replaceable, waterproof collar for the Innotek Pet Fencing Systems.
As a general rule, the products that begin with “SD” are compatible with each other. This means that the SD-2025 Collar is compatible with the SD-3000 Basic Contain ‘N’ Train System, along with the SD-2000 Basic In-Ground Pet Fencing System, and the SD-2100 Rechargeable In-Ground Pet Fencing System.
The restrictions are that the SD-2025 Collar will not work with the Remote Control for the SD-3000, nor is it compatible with the Ultrasmart products.

The Innotek SD-3000 Basic Contain ‘N’ Train System is both a combined fence and 150 yard remote trainer, featuring a lightweight, hand-held remote.
A regular fence collar will not work with the remote trainer, so you need to get the Innotek Receiver Collar that is compatible with the SD-3000 fence, and this model is the SD-3125 Basic Contain ‘N’ Train Extra Receiver Collar for the SD-3000 Fence.
As with all of our collars, these are in-stock, they ship out with FREE 2nd-Day Air, same or next day from our warehouse.

There are two Innotek Ultrasmart Fences available. The Innotek IUC-4100 Ultrasmart Pet fenceing System is a fence only, and the Innotek IUC-5100 Ultrasmart Contain ‘N’ Train Pet Fencing System is a combined fence and 150 yard remote trainer.
Each of these products come with one collar, the IUC-4225 for the IUC-4100 Ultrasmart Fence, and the IUC-5225 for the IUC-5100 Ultrasmart Contain ‘N’ Train. The IUC-4225 will work as a fence collar only on both systems, and the IUC-5225 will work with both the fence and the remote.
So, why would you buy one over the other?
- I want to add a dog to my Ultrasmart IUC-5100 Contain ‘N’ Train for the fence only
You only need to get the IUC-4225 collar
- I want to add a dog to my IUC-5100 Ultrasmart Contain ‘N’ Train for both the fence and the remote trainer
The collar you need is the IUC-5225
- I want to add a dog to my IUC-4100 Ultrasmart Fencing System
An IUC-4225 collar is perfect
In a nutshell, if you have an IUC-5100 Ultrasmart Contain ‘N’ Train, you can add a dog just to the fence with the IUC-4225 Ultrasmart Collar, or to the fence and trainer with the IUC-5225 Ultrasmart Collar. FYI: The IUC-5100 has a two dog capacity for the remote trainer.
If you have an IUC-4100 Ultrasmart Pet Fencing System, you should only purchase an IUC-4225 Collar. FYI: The IUC-5225 would work with the fence, but it would additional cost for no benefit over the IUC-4225.

The IUC 5225 Collar has both Ultrasmart Fence and Remote Training Capability

The IUC-4225 is Fully Compatible with all Ultrasmart Fences, but has no Remote Training
Remember all of our receiver collars ship from stock, two-day air to any location in the continental United States at no extra charge!

Yes you can! Innotek produces two systems that are both a fence and a 150-yard remote trainer. These systems are called Contain ‘N’ Train Pet Fencing Systems, and they are ideal if you are looking for a combined pet fence and trainer.
These items are versatile and there are two models available:

The great thing about both of these systems is that you do not need two units and two collars, just one unit can contain your dog both at your home and away.
The IUC-5100 is Ultrasmart© because it features ReadyTest© that lets you know the collar is working and fitted correctly.

Question:
I hear about Radio Systems Corporation, but you don’t sell any products with this brand. Why is that?
Answer:
Radio Systems Corporation is the parent company of the Innotek and PetSafe brands. You won’t see products sold directly under the Radio Systems name. We stock of full lineup of Innotek and PetSafe products, and we are an authorized retailer for the Innotek, PetSafe and SportDog brands.

Question:
I hear about “Authorized Retailers”, what does that mean.
Answer:
It is important you buy your product from an authorized retailer. This means that the retailer has registered with Radio Systems Corporation, has agreed to abide by certain guidelines, and will represent the products in an ethical and accurate manner. Look for logos like the following:
This is an important thing to look for. This assures you, the purchaser, that you will be properly supported by the manufacturers warranty and can make a product return for example. Note that MuttFence.com is an Innotek, PetSafe and SportDog authorized retailer.

When we say multiple dogs, we mean more than two. I used to joke that the big difference is going from one to two dogs, and any more just turns into a slightly bigger pack. That was until Hurricane Katrina hit, and we spent much of September 2005 rounding up stray dogs and finding homes for them all. We could for the little’uns, but not the big’uns, so we ended up with nine, big dogs! I digress …
If you have multiple dogs and need a trainer, you are confronted with two choices: 1) use a hunting dog trainer, or 2) use a two-dog trainer with multiple remotes. If you are not sure if you need a hunting dog trainer, then you probably don’t. They are more complex, and have a long range – over 1,000 yards – and consequently are more expensive than a regular trainer.
That leaves you with the option of the two dog trainer and multiple remotes. We know how expensive it is to feed the pack and take care of vet bills, so you’re on a budget, right? (How did we guess!) A great trainer for this purpose is the Innotek BT-502A Two Dog Remote Trainer.

Although the remote only controls two dogs, more units can be purchased. The trainer knows which remote to talk to via an ID and it is possible that the ID number of your new trainer will match the ID number of the orginal. In this case it is an easy fix: there is a process for resetting the ID number in the owners manual.
So, there it is. Help could be at hand. We know what it is like when the inmates try to run the assylum!

Question:
Do you sell the Innotek IUC-5200?
Answer:
The Innotek IUC-5200 Contain ‘N’ Train Fence is no longer manufactured and has been replaced by the Innotek IUC-5100 Ultrasmart Contain ‘N’ Train Pet Fencing System.
The IUC-5100 is an excellent solution for someone who wants both an Electric Dog Fence and a Remote Dog Trainer.

We were contacted by a lady that wanted to control two large dogs. The pet owner has 6 dogs, but said that the labs were a little badly behaved and she wanted something that would work to control them.
Initially she had looked at the PetSafe PDBDT-305 Big Dog Trainer since it is designed for dogs 40 lbs plus. She asked if this was the correct product and we told her that the PetSafe PDBDT-305 is an excellent unit, but is designed for only one dog.
For her situation, two large dogs, on a budget, and needing a range of 150 yards or less, we recommended the Innotek BT-502A Two-Dog Remote Trainer. This is an excellent device for pet owners with two dogs since it comes complete with two waterproof rechargeable collars and an easy to use remote.
She purchased the Innotek BT-502A and is very happy with the performance of this remote trainer. As with all of our collars, trainers and fences, the unit was shipped from stock with free shipping.
